General Overview

Opera Physiologica and Medica, OM&P is an international journal and an official journal of Nizhny Novgorod University publishing peer-reviewed articles dedicated to original research and concepts in all fields of physiology, pathophysiology and experimental medicine.

Aims and Scope

OM&P publishes full-length research papers, short communications, methodological papers and papers solicited by the Editorial Board, which include Invited reviews, Viewpoints and Symposium Reports. All categories of papers are subjected to the same peer review procedure.

OM&P welcomes submissions in all areas of physiology, pathophysiology and experimental medicine at all levels, including molecular level, at the level of the cell membrane, single cells, tissues or organs and, systems and organisms. Theoretical papers and papers that use computational models are also considered.

Open Access and Copyright

All articles published in OM&P are fully open access: immediately freely available to read, download and share; the use, distribution and reproduction is permitted for any medium, provided the original work is properly cited.

Copyright in any research article published by OM&P is retained by the author(s). Authors grant OM&P a license to publish the article and identify itself as the original publisher. Authors also grant any third party the right to use the article freely as long as its integrity is maintained and its original authors, citation details and publisher are identified.
